The 2$Bill concert series continues to pick up steam in 2003 with the one and only Radiohead–live in New York City on June 5. MTV2 will premiere Thom and the boys’ 2$Bill Concert on June 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Tickets will go on sale for the Radiohead MTV2 2$Bill concert on Saturday, May 31 at 12 noon at the Beacon Theatre box office in New York City.

Radiohead will give a live performance at Musique Plus (the french canadian version of Much Music) on June 2nd. According to Musique Plus, this will be their only Canadian concert. They will give 250 free tickets in a contest at the station.

Hail to the Thief is included in Entertainment Weekly’s “Hot Summer Albums” section in their new issue:
”I’m backsliding,” Thom Yorke moans on his band’s first disc in two years — and he’s not kidding. After the one-two punch of 2000’s ”Kid A” and 2001’s ”Amnesiac” — on which the group ditched guitars for glitchy drum machines and reverberant keyboards — ”Thief” finds Radiohead at least occasionally sounding like rockers again. ”When I listen to it, I’m reminded of all my favorite Radiohead things,” says bassist Colin Greenwood. And if ”Thief” sounds less gloomy and more danceable than usual, blame it on the bright lights of Los Angeles. Notes Greenwood: ”This is the first record we recorded in sunshine.” (June 10)
Radiohead will be appearing on Radio 1’s Jo Whiley show on May 28. Fans are encouraged to go to Jo Whiley’s message board and leave questions for the band. The best ones will be picked and will be used.
