Check your favorite music spot- the remix of ‘The Gloaming’ that DJ Shadow played on the radio has been leaked.

RADIOHEAD frontman THOM YORKE joined his pals REM onstage at their secret LONDON show tonight (September 15).
Yorke appeared onstage at the St James’ Church halfway through the set to join Michael Stipe on vocals for a version of the US band’s 1996 UK Top Five hit ‘E-Bow The Letter’, Yorke taking the part Patti Smith sang on the studio version.
REM had to restart the song after Stipe claimed “I was so excited I fucked up the beginning”, before going on to apologise for swearing in church.
Yorke, who has been friends with REM since Radiohead supported them on the 1995 ‘Monster’ tour, had previously sung the same song onstage with REM at Vancouver Thunderbird Stadium in August last year.
The 200-strong invite-only audience gave Yorke a storming ovation, and they also responded enthusiastically to the seven songs REM performed from forthcoming album ‘Around The Sun’, out on October 4.

Sigur Ros and Radiohead are the latest in a long line of cutting edge musicians and artists work in collaboration with renowned choreographer Merce Cunningham. The dance piece, entitled Split Sides, features original recorded scores by both bands, and will be premiered in the UK at The Barbican Theatre from 5-9 October. Split Sides also features sets designed by American photographer Robert Heishman and Turner prize nominee Catherine Yass.

Continuing Cunningham’s life-long fascination with chance, the actual presentation of Split Sides – the choreography; the order of the backdrops; costumes; lighting and the order of the music – is determined by the roll of a dice, making 32 different possible variations of the performance. Each act has provided 20 minutes of new material for what promises to be an extraordinary once off experience.

Thom Yorke is joining others on September 25 at the Crucial National Demo at Flyingdales to protest George Bush’s planned announcement of the Star Wars program this October. You can join CND at the national demonstration at the UK’s only official Star Wars base – Fylingdales – to say NO to Star Wars and NO to space weapons. This is a crucial demonstration at a crucial time. There will also be a march to the radar, a Star Wars exhibition, a drumming workshop, plus food and more… The Crucial National Demo will begin at 12 noon.
Thom spoke about the demonstration recently at the official Radiohead message board:
