No Surprises will be included in an upcoming episode of The Sundance Channel’s Sonic Cinema.
Back to Back: One Shot Videos features two clips that unfold in a single, uninterrupted take: Radiohead’s No Surprises and Wax’s California (remember- the one with the guy on fire?). This shall air Tuesday July 20 from 09:30 pm – 10:00 pm ET (US).

The Ovation Network (USA) will be broadcasting highlights from the 2003 Montreux Jazz Festival. Radiohead is part of the show today, starting at 8pm EST (5pm PST). Also appearing on the two-hour program will be Jamiroquai, Morcheeba, George Benson, Natalie Cole, Simply Red, Bonnie Raitt, The Pretenders and Van Morrison, so I wouldn’t expect more than one or two songs.

The Independent has put out a list of who they consider to be the 100 most influential people in the music industry, and Thom is at #30.
Sure, he’s behind Eminem (#1), Coldplay’s Chris Martin (#10), 50 Cent (#11), and Britney Spears (#17), but he is ranked ahead of Yoko Ono (#31), Mick Jagger and Keith Richards (#53), and Lil’ Jon (#88). Nigel Godrich is also on board, at #74.
