Thom’s voice singing “Where do we go from here” from “The Bends” has been sampled by Massive Attack on their new song “False Flags” which will be appearing on their new album Collected.
The sample can be heard near the end of the song, though it’s not very noticeable. To hear the song, visit here. You can also see the video here.
You may remember that Massive Attack had at one time planned to remix the whole OK Computer album but due to time issues, they had to abandoned the project.
Collected will be released on March 27, 2006.

It has been announced that both Thom and Jonny will be performing at a charity event in London this May. The concert, which will benefit Friends of the Earth’s The Big Ask, is set to happen at KOKO on May 1, 2006. Thom has been the spokesman for The Big Ask since it launched last year and has been calling for people across the UK to back the campaign to make the government responsible for reducing the UK impact on global warming.

Both Thom and Jonny posted on Dead Air Space today. I wish we could say that they blabbed about the new album or something, but alas, they didn’t. Thom apparently barely dodged a crisis while Jonny is talking about flying cars.
