Radiohead, along with Morrissey, was officially confirmed as headliners at this year’s V Festival.
On announcing the line up Bob Angus, V Festival Director, said: “We’re very proud to be presenting Radiohead, one of the most important bands in live music today, as headliners for this year’s V.
Other acts include Keane, Faithless, Fatboy Slim, Starsailor, Groove Armada, The Magic Numbers, The Ordinary Boys, James Dean Bradfield, Sugababes and The Feeling.
The festival take place on the weekend of August 19-20. Tickets go sale Friday, March 3 at 9:30am with weekend camping tickets cost £120, or £100 for both days without camping and day tickets priced at £58.50.

Radiohead covers album planned
An album of various artists covering the songs of Radiohead will hit shelves this spring.
Entitled Exit Music: Songs For Radioheads, the release will feature covers of the band’s hits including Karma Police, No Surprises and High and Dry.
The album will be available from April, whilst a single release of Just by Mark Ronson and Alex Greenwald (frontman of Phantom Planet) will hit shelves on March 13.

Thom says “We are working on Nude”
To a lot of Radiohead fans, this is music to their ears. Thom updated Dead Air Space today with what’s been happening in the studio. It seems as if “Nude” (sometimes called “Big Ideas”) is being recorded as a possible track on the new album. This song has been kicking around since the OK Computer days and is definitely a crowd favorite.

Happy Valentine’s Day! What would this day be without some celebrity crushes?
Gwyneth Paltrow, who is married to Coldplay’s Chris Martin, revealed on Los Angeles radio station 103.1 FM that if she ever got a “free pass” to bed another man, “it would be with someone like Phil Selway, my musical hero.”
She then added: “I admire him so much.” Paltrow also mentioned that she loves Madonna’s boobs but we’ll leave that alone.
