We have received some email ever since we posted the recent news post about the poll where Radiohead came in at #16 on the “Top 20 Moments in Pop” done by the UK’s Daily Mail.

16. Radiohead’s guitarist Jonny Greenwood sabotages lead singer Thom Yorke’s song Creep (1992)

Many have asked how did Jonny sabotage Creep? It has been known that Jonny didn’t particularly like Creep when he first heard it so when the band would play it, he would try to ruin the song by making the now famous “chunk chunk” sound with his guitar during the chorus. Little did he know that sound would actually improve the song and make it the huge hit that it was.
Now you know… 🙂

Stanley Donwood has decorated a ‘cow’ – (a pretend one!) for auction.
The artwork on the cow ‘Restructured Burger’ is a reflection of the artwork featured on the current Radiohead album, ‘HAIL TO THE THIEF’ – see picture attached.
Please go and have a look at the website www.cowparade.net for all information about the cows and their artists and click on the ‘Ireland’ link to find specific information on Stanley’s ‘Restructured Burger’.
Also attached is notes on how to paint the cow from Stanley (see below).
The auction is on 20th November in the Four Seasons in Dublin. Catalogues cost EUR25 and tickets to the auction will be EUR150. Proceeds go to The Dublin Simon Community (for homeless people) and The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation.

The band is rumored to be returning to Japan in April 2004 to play a series of shows. Below are the dates but keep in mind that these haven’t been confirmed yet. It is also rumored that Radiohead will be visiting Australia in the first half of 2004.
