Did You Get Your Tickets?

Don’t worry, you’re not alone if you didn’t. Radiohead’s only announced show this year at the Royal Festival Hall in London sold out in less than 30 minutes! A spokesman of the venue told NME: “This is totally unprecedented for us, although not unexpected. All of our 40 phone lines have been jammed all morning and we have one of the biggest box offices in London. There is still a huge amount of traffic on our website, but people are just getting turned away!”

The concert in set for July 1, 2000, and as reported earlier is part of Scott Walker’s Meltdown 2000 Festival.
If you did not get a ticket and are a member of W.A.S.T.E., don’t fret… W.A.S.T.E. has reserved 500 tickets for it’s members to purchase. Here’s some info from W.A.S.T.E.:

w.a.s.t.e has 500 tickets to sell to members at £20.00 per ticket

Please send by post, your full name, address, postcode, day-time telephone number and e-mail address (where possible) and indicate whether you would like to buy one or two tickets.
Pop that information into an envelope and send to:

The closing date for this is April 24th 2000, when we will pick winners out of a big box. We will contact all winners using various communication methods by the 30th April 2000 and give payment information at that time.

N.B. Please do not send w.a.s.t.e any e-mails for tickets – only postal requests will be accepted. Do not send any payment until contacted by w.a.s.t.e after the 24th April 2000. Please remember to state whether you would like one or two tickets.
