As expected, the news coverage is slowing down, the media’s moving on to other things, and therefore the donations are slowing down as well. It’s to be expected, but do keep in mind that the need for aid hasn’t subsided as quickly as the news coverage has. As before, should you donate, shoot an email with how much you donated in the subject to donations@politick.info.
And pat yourselves on the back…forty eight thousand dollars is not a small chunk of change. That makes a legitimate difference in the lives of thousands of people. Pretty impressive what people can do when they get together on the internet, isn’t it? Isn’t it?
